Congratulations on your decision to attend Mercyhurst University! We want to make your transition to becoming a Mercyhurst University student as seamless as possible. The first step is to register for our Summer Orientation Program. This program provides you with the opportunity to get acclimated to Mercyhurst, schedule for fall classes with your faculty advisor or academic counselor, and meet other new Lakers. Additionally, as a Mercyhurst student, you’ll rely on this New Student Portal page for necessary forms and documents, student loan information, paying your tuition bill, campus updates and announcements, and much more. We hope you find this new student portal page helpful and informative and strongly encourage you to check back quite often.
This site guides you through your transition. Prior to Summer Orientation, please complete the following by clicking on the “Get Started” button. This will navigate you through the following:
- Register for Summer Orientation – complete the online registration form.
- Interdisciplinary Studies Course Request – this is a freshman only required course.
- Residence Life and Housing – if you’re planning to reside on campus, you must download, complete and submit the required forms.
- Health Center Requirements – all students (whether you reside on campus or not) must download, complete and submit health and immunization forms.
After Orientation, there’s more you have to do; click on the “Continue Your Journey” button to complete the post-orientation requirements and to learn more about Welcome Week and Move-in Day.
